![]() ![]() But none will ring louder this week than the collective mental lapse between their new QB-coach pairing of Russell Wilson and Nathaniel Hackett, who let 30 seconds tick off the clock on their final series, only to settle for a 64-yard walk-off field-goal try. There are plenty of reasons, including the fact that neither Melvin Gordon nor Javonte Williams could hold onto the ball on goal-line runs. Seattle was, simply put, the more disciplined and inspired team on the field. The defense was just as good, if not better, bending and bending but never breaking, surrendering over 400 total yards but forcing a pair of goal-line fumbles, making six stops behind the line and showcasing sustained physicality. Seattle didn't close or prolong drives as well as it could've, but under Smith's guidance, the team never lost a lead, with Rashaad Penny showing plenty of burst despite just 12 carries. 2 not only kept the ball out of harm's way but proactively extended plays, adopting a quasi-backyard approach to get eight different receivers involved. A driver/software combo that adds a level of customisation outside of the in-game stuff you might be used to. ![]() The Taipan is designed to work with Razer’s Synapse 2.0 software. Which, if you didn’t know, is massive and probably a bit unnecessary, but who doesn’t love a bit of techno gluttony, eh? The massive sensor range does lend itself to other technical aspects, and the Taipan is one of the most responsive mice Razer has produced, able to cope with 200 virtual inches per second with a 1 millisecond response rate. Razer call it the 4G Dual Sensor system, but whatever you call want to call it, the headline statistic is that it’s capable of registering 8200 dots per inch. On the underside of the Taipan you will find not one but two sensors, one optical and the other laser. If I had heard about this feature before using the Taipan I probably would have scoffed at the idea, but having used it myself I have to say it adds a fantastic level of instant, on the fly customisation to any gaming situation. I found myself reducing sensitivity when looking down the scope of a sniper rifle and ramping it up when in a close up fire fight. This is a really nifty use of the two top buttons, one that I found really useful when exploring the streets of New York in Crysis 2. The primary buttons on the mouse’s top have a satisfying ‘click’ to them, responsive and not too easy to press, I’d say they were just about perfect. You may want to assign these buttons to tasks used less frequently. The four buttons that sit on the devices flanks will get the most use after the traditional left and right buttons, and these are perfectly accessible to whichever side of the mouse your thumb happens to sit, however the buttons on the opposite side are a little fiddly to press with any great haste or precision, since you have to use your little finger or ring finger, which aren’t the sharpest knives in the proverbial draw. When you play the game, you will see how the entire area has probably about 70% wasted space. I find myself literally quick walking throughout this massive structure just to talk to one NPC, and should you just press 'A' to trigger the conversation and then walk away to save time, the conversation won't register so you have to walk your *** back to the NPC, hit 'A' again and literally sit through the conversation. Shoal though wasn't having any of that though, so he started smuggling grav cycles and thus broke Rayonne law. These grav cycles can be outfitted and modified to increase speed, damage, etc, and the Rayonne saw this as a threat, so grav cycles were outlawed. Shoal was not some ordinary pilot though we are introduced to him as arguably the best (he'd have to be right?) pilot ever seen. You play the role of Romer Shoal who used to be a celebrity grav cycle pilot. They work on enslaving the rest of mankind and forcing people to turn and become members of the Rayonne army. We've seen similar plot lines in science fiction movies before, and like those movies, a race of integrated machines called the Rayonne rise up against humanity and without anyone to stop them. Science has figured out a way to let our "existence" carry on beyond our physical bodily limits. The backdrop of Disintegration takes place roughly 150 years from where we are now. This instantly perked my attention being a titanic Halo fan, but such aspirations have burned me in the past and led to disappointment, but I was hopeful. Does this game though break the mold and find a way to harmonize both genres together in a fluid gaming experience? Let's find out.įor starters, Disintegration was directed by one of the co-creators of Halo, Marcus Lehto and his V1 interactive studio. In an attempt to integrate both FPS and RTS elements within the game, you can already see going into this the ambition on the table. This is the same theory that directly applies to Disintegration from V1 Interactive. Have you ever heard the phrase a jack of all trades is a master of none? It's a phrase that signifies that while it may be tempting to do a little of everything, the lack of focus will prevent you from mastering anything. ![]() |
